Sitz toy
Sitz-toy as a concept unifies two distinct epochs of my life: toys from my childhood and my work in furniture design. The movable letters on the seat indicate the function of each piece – since the idiom of my childhood was german nothing comes more natural than using it in my toy-furnitures ….
Sitz-toy é um conceito que unifica dois tempos testintos, um brinquedo dos tempos da minha infância e o trabalho com design de mobília. O tabuleiro móvel com suas respectivas letras indica a função de cada peça, com o idioma falado no tempo da minha infância foi alemão, nada mais natural do que usar-lo nos brinquedomóveis.
Die Konzeption “Sitz-toy” vereinigt zwei Epochen meines Lebens: Spielzeug aus der Zeit meiner Kindheit und meine Arbeit im Möbeldesign. Die veränderbare Sitzfläche mit den jeweiligen Buchstaben zeigt die Funktion an. Da Deutsch die Sprache meiner Kindheit war, ist es nur natürlich, sie in meinen Möbelspielen zu verwenden.
